We are a community of people in Sarasota who believe art and poetry belong to everyone. Our mission is to put art in public places around Sarasota County so you can encounter it in your daily life.
There are many ways to get involved. All inquiries are appreciated!

Become a Poet or Artist
We curate our projects with the intent of pairing professional artists and poets to experience a live collaboration that engages the participants and allows us to bring extraordinary art and poetry to the Sarasota community. Our intent is that at least one of the participants reside in Sarasota.
Criteria for Artists
Participation in at least 5 juried exhibitions or shown in serious commercial art galleries
Multiple artworks purchased by private, commercial or museum collections
Relevant education in the visual arts
Or similar professional experience
Criteria for Poets
A significant volume of poetry has been published by an eligible publisher (i.e. not self-published)
In recent years, at least twenty poems published in several different journals
Relevant education in the literary arts
Or similar professional experience
Artists and poets donate their time and work. We ask that our teams complete their project in about six weeks, and we expect to meet with the teams several times during the process.
